The Ovation OV-RC-WAR01 Detachable Wardrobe Road Case provides a professional mobile wardrobe solution for touring productions, theatres, events, film and television, costume departments and other applications where garments need to travel safely and stay organised.

Unlike a conventional single wardrobe trunk, the OV-RC-WAR01 features a detachable two-section design. The two tall wardrobe cases connect together for transport and can be separated when required, providing two individual garment storage stations once on site.

Two Wardrobes in One Transport Solution

The detachable design is one of the OV-RC-WAR01’s most practical features.

For transport, the two sections connect together to form a single mobile road case. At the venue, they can be separated, making it easier to position the wardrobes where they’re needed or provide separate garment storage for different performers, departments or areas.

Each section is independently equipped with its own hanging rail, lower drawer, handles and castors.

Full-Length Hanging Storage

Both wardrobe sections incorporate a sturdy horizontal hanging rail, providing dedicated space for garments that need to remain hanging during storage and transport.

This makes the case particularly suited to costumes, uniforms, performance clothing, corporate wardrobe and production garments, helping reduce the need to repeatedly unpack and repack clothing between locations.

Integrated Lower Drawers

A single pull-out drawer is positioned at the bottom of each wardrobe section, providing two drawers across the complete case.

These provide a separate storage area for smaller wardrobe items such as folded garments, accessories, shoes and other production essentials while keeping the main hanging compartment clear.

Professional Road Case Construction

Built from 12mm black Hex plywood, the OV-RC-WAR01 combines the functionality of a mobile wardrobe with the protection expected from a professional Ovation road case.

The exterior features aluminium extrusions, protective corners and professional Penn Elcom flight case hardware, together with multiple recessed handles positioned around the case for practical crew handling.

Heavy-duty castors beneath each individual wardrobe section allow the complete case to be moved together while also enabling each half to be rolled independently once separated.

Designed for Life Backstage

Once opened and separated, the OV-RC-WAR01 effectively becomes two mobile wardrobe stations.

The large doors provide direct access to the hanging compartments and drawers, allowing garments to remain organised and readily accessible throughout a production or event. When it’s time to move on, the sections can be closed, reconnected and rolled out ready for transport.
