A Collaboration with Q-SYS Australia and TAG
Ovation recently had the privilege of working with Q-SYS Australia and TAG to create a custom CNC fit-out housed in durable Pelican Cases. These demo kits were built to protect and professionally present key components from the Q-SYS range—along with the Netgear AV Line switch—for use in demos, training and client presentations.
Inside the Demo Kit: Q-SYS and Netgear
The Q-SYS platform is a powerful, software-based audio, video, and control (AV&C) ecosystem. It brings together processing, room control, networked video, and more into a single, scalable platform. Used widely across corporate, education, hospitality and government environments, Q-SYS simplifies complex AV integrations with flexible hardware and intuitive software.
To support the Q-SYS devices, the demo kits also include the Netgear AV Line M4250 switch. Specifically designed for AV over IP, this switch features easy configuration, robust performance and a clean design that aligns with Q-SYS networking needs.

Each component in the demo kit has its own precisely cut section within the custom foam insert—allowing the case to not only protect the gear during transport, but also present it in a clean, professional layout. With a rugged, water-resistant Pelican exterior and a tailored interior, the case is built for real-world use and repeated handling.
