The Global Truss F35 1.5m 5-Chord Square Linear Truss provides a dedicated solution for suspending loads centrally beneath square truss.

F35 measures 290 × 290mm and features 50mm Ø × 4mm main chords with 20mm Ø × 2mm bracing. Its defining feature is an additional fifth chord positioned along the bottom centre of the truss.

This creates a dedicated suspension position directly beneath the truss. It addresses a common challenge with conventional square truss, where the two bottom chords sit either side of the centreline.

Designed for LED Screen Suspension

Global Truss developed F35 with smaller LED screen suspension as a key application.

LED screens can create a long, continuous load beneath a truss span. These applications can also require tighter control of deflection.

The additional bottom-centre chord provides a practical position for centring the suspended load. F35 also uses a 4mm main chord wall thickness for increased strength and stiffness.

A Versatile Fifth Chord

The fifth chord also provides a useful central suspension point for drapes, set pieces and other compatible suspended elements.

This gives production and installation crews greater flexibility when a load needs to follow the centreline of the truss.

F35 can also be used for more general truss applications. All loads, spans and configurations must follow the applicable engineering data.

Engineering for Deflection-Sensitive Applications

F35 engineering provides loading information for different bottom-chord configurations.

Engineering data covers bottom-centre-chord loading with deflection limited to ≤1:300. This tighter criterion is particularly relevant to applications such as LED screen suspension.

Data is also provided for bottom-outer-chord loading with deflection limited to ≤1:100.
