The Ovation OV-RC-SPK010 Generic Dual 10″ Speaker Road Case provides a professional transport and storage solution for two compatible 10-inch speakers.

Part of the Ovation Standard Range of Audio Cases, the OV-RC-SPK010 combines quality road case construction and professional Penn Elcom flight case hardware. It also features a special dual CNC foam insert. Designed for professional audio, AV, touring, production and event applications, it provides a practical way to transport two speakers together in one purpose-built road case.

Built to the Ovation Standard

Ovation builds its Standard Range cases from 12mm hexagon-pattern laminated plywood and fits them with professional Penn Elcom flight case hardware.

The OV-RC-SPK010 features heavy-duty aluminium extrusions and Penn Elcom heavy-duty ball corners. It also includes large cranked butterfly latches and large recessed spring-loaded handles with black PVC grips.

These professional road case materials and components make the OV-RC-SPK010 well suited to production companies, AV professionals, rental businesses and venues. Furthermore, it is ideal for touring crews who regularly transport audio equipment.

Special Dual CNC Foam Insert Included

Unlike an empty generic road case, the OV-RC-SPK010 includes a special dual CNC foam insert. Precision CNC cutting creates dedicated spaces for two compatible 10″ speaker cabinets within the case.

Low-Base Design for Easier Access

The low-base design lets you remove the main case cover and access the speakers directly from the wheeled base. As a result, loading and unloading is easier.

This practical configuration reduces the height you need to lift the speakers when removing them from the road case. It also reduces the height required when returning them to the road case.

Penn Elcom Heavy-Duty Swivel Castors

The OV-RC-SPK010 uses Penn Elcom 100mm heavy-duty swivel castors with blue rubber wheels. This provides manoeuvrability when moving the case through warehouses, loading areas, venues and production environments.

Penn Elcom rates each heavy-duty swivel castor to 250kg per castor. Therefore, this professional flight case hardware is well suited to road cases designed to transport substantial equipment.
