Late 2022, Stage & Audio in QLD sought Design Quintessence’s help to supply them with a substantial amount of F54 Truss with the intention of using it to build temporary hangers for a special secret operation.
The project the team were involved in required a heavy-duty structure to be able to withstand the wind due to the nature and environment of the undisclosed and isolated location.
Our longstanding relationship with Stage & Audio gave our team the advantage to assist them with any support they needed, providing them with all the technical expertise to help them through this project.
Given the strength and flexibility of our F54 Truss system meant that they were able to design a temporary structure that can be easily set up and provide their clients with a complete modular solution to their needs.
Other than being used as a hanger, it could be used by hawkers, as marquees, event tents, ground support and more. The possibilities are endless when a creative mind is applied.
The above examples of uses come under a variety of industries such as the entertainment industry, medical industry, military, exhibitions and more.
But, out of all our truss, what made our client choose the F54 Truss?
Simple. The F54 Truss, although commonly used in concert stages, is heavy-duty and the largest of the square trusses we supply. This allows the F54 Truss to be used in a variety of situations. Moreover, its square profile allows it to be modular and rotate across 90-degree planes. Compared to our other models of square trusses, theF54 Truss could carry heavier loads while accommodating large structures with long spans. The features that make up the F54 Truss were what the client was looking for.
